I have been meaning to release this for a while and thought I would take the opportunity to put it out on the last Bandcamp Friday of the year. These tracks are some of my documentation of rehearsing for a performance I did during History Week here in Sydney.

'Things Remain Held Together' was written and released during the pandemic, so these songs had not yet been performed. In preparation for the performance I didn't re-listen to the album, rather I collected all the respective loops and tried to re-create what I remember, hoping in turn to re-invent the pieces a little. Sometimes the track turned out very similar, other times I (somewhat unconsciously) took things in a different direction. Overall I found it a very restful experience, and deliberately took longer to get to the 'point' than I did on the album. Over the course of my musical career I have tried more and more to rest while performing and give myself space. Hopefully this comes across in these recordings.

I want to thank Jamie Dunk for inviting me to play at 'Memories of the Future'. It was special to be invited back again, and I loved being a part of the evening and hearing the wonderful speakers.
