about

The idea of Jamuary is to write some small piece of music each day. When I did Jamuary last year, these short compositions were only shared on social media. This year I decided to do the reverse, as the production of a nice video often took away from precious composition time. I also tried not to be strict about doing something every day, hence there not being 31 tracks. Almost all of these tracks were made on the OP-Z by Teenage Engineering. This is a new device, and I have really enjoyed ‘playing around’ this past month, a posture which always makes learning fun and creativity flow. I hope you enjoy this small collection of tunes. Who knows, some of people these may be the seed of something greater, or they could just be a joyful thing in and of themselves.

Happy Bandcamp Friday!
