about

These are some 'Hymns' as I call them. Some are praise to God, other are introspection. I am still proud of some, others not so much. They are what they are, though, and so I thought I'd put them out there again.

The photo is from 2010 (to match the era). I look a little different now.

Track Name: Hymn Part 1
Oh who am I to think that I,
Could help you find your way.
The words that I thought to be wise;
They have no strength to hold you up.
They have no power to save.

Of all that I have seen and learnt,
I find no firmer ground
Than what your Holy Word doth say.
It has the strength to hold me up.
It has the power to save.

I have a prayer I'd like to pray;
That Thou would make me wise
To spread Your Word both straight and firm
To all who need its power,
To all who need to live.
Track Name: Hymn Part 2
Stop, this game.
Open up.
For love (real love) opens up it's heart.

Change, please change.
Please grow up.
Speak less, hear more.
Fear the Lord. It is wise.

Please help me. Make me grow.
Teach me. Seek me.
Show me how to love.
Track Name: Hymn Part 3
For you are Lord of all, and I am bound to fall.
For in this heart of stone, I've tried to be my own.

Could I see you aright, put all these fears to flight.
Still then I cannot say I wouldn't run away.

And so it's plain to see we need this God in three.
For there is none in whom we live and move by you.
Track Name: Hymn Part 4 (Lullaby)
Lay your weary head and sleep,
For there is none to harm you now.
The Saviour's here, he rescued us,
From all that we could not.

And now we see him by our side
As we walk this road together,
Though toil and strife but for a time.
For this old earth shall pass away,
And leave us in his arms.
