In July of 2017 I had about two weeks spare, while on holiday in Alberta, to write some music. I tried to churn out as many pieces as I could in that time and just get things down on paper (or computer). Most of the sounds are software instruments, with the exception of my acoustic guitar that I tracked when I got back to Vancouver. I think this gives it a very different tone to my recent stuff, both texturally and harmonically, and I like the contrast.

I have had these pieces sitting on my hard drive for quite a while now, and I wasn't sure if I should put them out. However, I wanted to start the year with a clean slate musically (and I really like sharing music).
